Upon graduating from UC Davis with a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture, Marco joined the workforce at the height of a California drought and witnessed first-hand the importance of a holistic design in relation to an ever-changing ecology. With a background in nursery work, sustainable irrigation design, and landscape construction, he has developed a unique skillset that allows him to design and detail verdant spaces without compromising water conservation. His passion for horticulture and ecology shapes his design approach that aims to create landscapes that are aesthetic, engaging, and ecologically responsible. Marco has experience working in various project types ranging from municipal, institutional, private residential, and master planning and assists in seeing projects through from concept development to construction administration.
