Logix Headquarters
Valencia, CA
A 13-acre site was selected by Logix Federal Credit Union to be their new company headquarters. PB&Co established the company’s desired program for access, circulation and outdoor activities, as well as safety requirements, such as a firelane traversing the site. The goal of the project was to make every part of the site useful by creating different size spaces with distinct uses.
The ‘Hub,’ is the main gathering space, ‘The Perch,’ is an overlook to take in the views of the riparian corridor and the mountains, ‘The Sports Meadow,’ is a multi-purpose field and grove for team building and athletic activities, and a ‘Fitness Walk,’ connects all of the program elements together.
A lack of shade and the hot and arid climate of the Santa Clarita Valley influenced the design to include tree shaded garden walks and shaded outdoor dining areas and parking. Drought-resistant planting and water conserving irrigation systems also equip the site to thrive even in the hottest and driest months of the year.
