Oriole Residence

Hollywood Hills, CA

The goal for this Hollywood Hills property was to create a Japanese-inspired garden to complement newly renovated home. A new bright green multi-grated fence runs throughout the property. The front entry garden features a mix of colorful planting including wild ginger, Autumn Gold Ginkgo, Japanese Black Pine, Sticky Monkey Flower, Acacia ‘Cousin Itt’, Grevillea ‘Moonlight’, Variegated Fortnight Lily, and Dymondia groundcover.

A path made of gravel and limestone pavers connects the front garden to the backyard. The backyard features a new pool, ipe wood deck, and limestone patios that wrap around the home. The back of the property lightly slopes beneath the wood deck and is planted with an assortment of low water-use groundcover and shrubs.
